I have only been turning for a few months but after having been inspired by your work I have plucked up the courage to have a go at segmented turning. I have made just a single ring so far and I am enjoying myself. ![]()

Beautiful, I have been turning for about a year now. If you go to cnew.org (a woodturning club I belong to you can see some of my work) If you have any suggestions on spirals please e-mail me. Thanks

Was given your link via my good friend den burgess, nice site with some interesting turnings. I get to burn what den throws out, but I've noticed that my burning bin is rather low just lately, not sure if that is because den is getting better or he is producing less?? ho ho! All joking a side it is fasinating to see how he/you turn what most would consider fire wood into real works of art that reflect the enjoyment that one gets from making them. I look forward to seeing more. rgds geoff Admin reply: Thanks for the message, yes my woodburner bin has been a bit empty lately as well just as well i was given a load of old floor joists.

Hi there. Having seen your work at the craft fair recently, we thought we'd have a browse. For those of you reading this who have only seen the photos, you can be a**ured that these pieces are very nice indeed with a lovely smooth (but not too shiny) finish. All the best, G&D

Finally got around to your site. Sorry it took me so long but at my age everything seem to take forever and I never get caought up. Curved lines in your segments are created with a scroll or bandsaw. I use a bandsaw on my Feather patterns. Let me know if you want more information on this subject. Your turnings look mighty good and you're settling into a style. The 'Sold' sign will tell you when to change. My Best. Richard E Erickson.

Hi Gordon. Nice to hear from you (well virtually!) We shall pop over one day and find a lake somewhere (you've got some nice ones in Wales?) and spend the day not catching fish. regards Jon
